Because we run our own machining shop, we carry standard profiles from stock and can run non-standard ones to order. That matters most on older properties, where nothing quite matches what is already on the wall.
Bring a short offcut down to the yard and we will tell you honestly whether we can match it before you commit to anything.

Choosing a moulding
Softwood or MDF
Softwood takes stain and suits period work. MDF is more stable, has no knots and gives a flatter painted finish.
Getting the height right
Taller skirting suits high ceilings and older houses. Measure what is already there before ordering — 4″ and 5″ cover most jobs.
Matching an old profile
Bring an offcut. We manufacture in-house, so we can often run a match rather than leaving you to hunt for one.
Working out lengths
Priced per metre, so measure the perimeter and add roughly ten percent for cuts and mitres.
